I wasn’t celebrating an innocent man being brutally murdered like a lot of Villanelle and Eve shippers were after ep 3.04 😬, but I think it’s kind of stupid that Nico is still alive. That was a horrific scene, him getting stabbed through the neck with a pitchfork, and what was the point of it? The emotional impact lasted about two seconds, and then when we see Eve again she’s not grieving him, because he’s still alive so there is no reason for her to grieve. Other than it being unbelievable that Nico could have survived that (which makes it funny that you mentioned that the straights have it so good, because obviously you are aware when shows want to kill off a gay character it always seems to take far less to kill them and for them to stay dead) I was hoping for more of an emotional payoff from his “death” with Eve having to deal with that (would have been a good chance for Sandra Oh to show off her acting chops too). But now she doesn’t, so... 🤷♀️

2020-05-19 15:19:52 +0000 UTCI just noticed that in the scene between Eve and Bear, they mirrored (accidentally I guess) the shot, that's why she's on the wrong side for a few seconds. If you notice outside the window there's a wall only on the left side, but in the wrong scene it's on the right. I thought they shot two different scene and got them mixed up by mistake, but they actually mirrored the shot lmao UNFORGIVABLE Loved your reaction and commentary as always! I also like to think the title cards are so all over the place because they represent what Villanelle is feeling, given the fact that this season is more focused on her.
