Sometimes when you go through a bad trauma the best thing you can do for yourself is forgive that other person because that allows you to let them go when you’re angry you’re harboring that in your subconscious and so you can’t let him go so you keep seeing them everywhere so it’s super important for her to be able to do that. Also as horrible as Ian is he didn’t kill the first girlfriend like he was driving the car but it was an accident so of course he’s going to be crying in the cell he probably harbors a ton of guilt from that situation

Oth is one big development and motivational show, how can you not love it <3

2020-05-27 20:05:55 +0000 UTCOh Nathan! I think the fact that Nathan is flawed and comes from a screwed-up family background makes his journey so amazing. He sees the terrible person his father is and is trying at every turn to never become that. He spent his childhood looking up to him and trying to win his approval only to learn that his independence, his confidence, his generosity, honesty, empathy and love are the things that make him ten times the man his father ever was and will be. And every single step he takes is a big learning curve for him in compassion and integrity. This episode was another moment in his life where he could've taken the easy way out just like Dan, but instead he chose to take responsibilty and not throw away his integrity. He wants his son to never feel the way he feels about Dan . He wants his son to feel proud to have Nathan as a dad and that he has a right to feel that way because Nathan earned that.

Because once Brooke starts using her potential, she is phenomenal. She is empathetic, kind, helpful, gracious, fun and honest. She just wants to feel loved and I admire her for finally starting to grow into this amazing person I always knew she had the potential of being.

Throughout the series oth has some incredible quotes, but I gotta say the "you're a survivor, you're a warrior" quote Brooke says in this episode is one of my absolute favourites. And how she helped Peyton get through the trauma Psycho Derek causes her, wow, Brooke is fantastic and has such a big heart. This is truly where her development starts. She's had some changes in the right direction before this, but from this moment on in the show her development is fantastic and it just makes me so proud tbh. Brooke has so many layers and there's so many sides to her character that makes her the person she is, I can't wait for you to see it all.

He knew what he did was wrong and he took responsebility for what he did. He owned up to his mistakes and I love that no matter what happens, Haley will be there by his side and support him. They're a team, they face things together and I just wanna say how beautiful it is to witness their journey.

I think it was really clever how they did this whole storyline, uncovering new hints and truths bit by bit. I like the fact that she wasn't just some random girl, she was someone who had relevance to the story. She was there, she could relate to how they felt and how they would carry that day with them for the rest of their lives.

2020-05-27 13:45:00 +0000 UTCYeah, I stopped watching Juli’s OTH reactions after S2 (I have my reasons), but I was planning on skipping ahead and jumping right into S5 when Juli gets there. EDIT- I know you didn’t ask, but my reasons are mostly that I was a hardcore Brucas shipper back in the day, and I watched S3 and S4 too many times already and I just haven’t felt like putting myself through that again lately.

I think she will quickly become one of your children in the same sense that Nathan and Peyton are. I’m so excited for you to see her growth and where all of the other characters end up. He is well aware that the things he did are unforgivable as he said in that last scene. He knows that he destroyed Deb, pushed Nathan and Lucas away and killed Keith. So he wants to hang onto the last person that might see something good in him, because he can’t see that in himself anymore. He’s falling apart bc the guilt is eating him alive. He said that he wants to be free, he wants to breathe again. He just hasn’t understood (yet) that the only way to be free is to take responsibility for what he did. This is also why they showed the contrast between Dan and Nathan this episode: Nathan takes responsibility for his mistakes even though he doesn’t have to, even though it might cost him everything while Dan is still desperately trying to build a life where he can run from what he did. But now Nathan is free and Dan is still trapped in his guilt.

And as much as I like Nathan and I understand why he did what he did I'm glad there are consequences to the point shaving thing because it is serious. and actions do have consequences, I do love that Lucas tried to protect him but I'm also glad Nathan was honest and stepped up. Lucas finding out about Dan killing Keith was really great scene and I loved the end with him finding Dan and Karen kissing, the disgust on his face. It was a really great moment and I just remembered being really repulsed.

It’s amazing to see that even back then in 2007 the way they are dressed doesn’t justify rape or is still at 100% the guy’s fault. Amazing reactions as usual, Juli ! I loved the acting of Abby’s actress and I can’t wait for you to watch the last three episodes. They are so INTENSE and GREAT ! Your love for one tree hill is so good to watch. Also can’t wait for you to reach S5,6 and more !! it’s different but also so good but different lol

2020-05-27 08:16:07 +0000 UTCThese last few episodes are so intense & the season finale is definitely one of my favorites of the show :) I’m so glad Brooke and Peyton are finally in a good place- it seems like forever since we’ve seen them this close & their friendship just keeps getting better. I was so happy Abby told Lucas that it was Dan who killed Keith- I’m super excited for you to see how Lucas reacts towards him now! Can’t wait for you to finish season 4! This season is so incredible, but don’t worry, so is season 5 ;)
