I never understand people who hate Leyton for making mistakes or doing the same thing over and over again until they learn a lesson. Everyone knows somebody like them someone who is love with somebody but gets scared and falls into a relationship with someone else to hide. Or someone who cheats on a partner with the person they are actually in love with. I'm sorry but cheating is not the worse thing in the world. Lucas and Peyton in s1 were in love for the first time and they were sixteen. There was no second time cheating until season 5. The school shooting kiss does not count and Peyton confessing feelings for Lucas is not cheating. Their relationship in S5 is normal in my opinion. Couples have arguments break up and try to move on but can't being 21 allows for figuring things out.

I dislike Peyton more for kissing him knowing he was in a relationship. After that, Lucas made his choice and felt that he loved Lindsey and that's great but he should have been honest and told her about the kiss.

I wish the writers didn't make them repeat the same mistakes over and over again. S1 with Brooke was enough.

I don't think they have fully recovered from Nathan's accident and they haven't yet regained the closeness that they lost. As much as I hate to see their marriage struggling, I appreciate the realism. I think that Nathan likes the attention tbh and I think he prob feels kinda useless right now. Injured, no dream job, and he can't even defend his wife. and so having someone like carrie idolize him prob feels good. He is making so many mistakes though and not setting boundaries and being completely disrespectful to haley. However, I don't think he has ever seriously thought about cheating. The scene in the bar with carrie-I don't think that was him being jealous at all. I think that was just him being a good guy, I think that he would do that for any girl that was getting unwanted attention. Carrie says that she liked seeing him jealous and he responds that she hasn't seen his jealous side. We get to see him actually jealous and defensive when the same guy harasses haley and Nathan gets physical. lol there's my over analyzing perspective on Naley :)

Yeah, people like me are annoyed and turned off by what was happening but I think the people who love them should be the most upset for how unnecessary all of this was.

Just like it happens with Brooke, it only ended because she ended, and this will only end if Lindsey do it. I won’t say more about that because it just is getting on my nerve. I love Leyton but I’m not crazy crazy about them because of this season I think this was written way too stupidly, I don’t see the point of all that mistake feels like going back to high school. I honestly forgot how much I looooove Brooke this season omg she is the queen of season 5!

They’re not teenagers anymore but they are still young people. I also disagree that this is worse that s1 because it wasn’t an affair, it was a kiss.

Brooke is a queen and I will stan her till the day I die. Now if only her mom could behave and nanny Carrie get out of this place all would be well in the world.

Because I love Peyton and Lucas it didn’t take long for me to become content and at peace that they were going to be together even though I had sour grapes about Brucas but all of this stuff really brought me back to season 1 vibes except now it’s even more annoying because they are adults now. I just absolutely hate that it seems like these two are just insensitive and careless with other people’s emotions. Dating other people should never have been an option for Leyton since the beginning tbh.

I somewhat forgave them for cheating on Brooke in high school, they were young and made a mistake. But this time? Hell no. This time it wasn't a mistake, this was a choice. And it wasn't a small, innocent kiss. This was a full on tongue kiss with no regrets or consideration for the 3rd party. They keep hurting other people when they aren't dating each other and it's so frustrating. The worst part is that it seems like they don't even consider and care about all the damage they're doing to the other girls. This kiss, and the way they've both treated Lindsey, plus all that mess with Brooke in high school; breaking her heart, her trust and treating her the way they did as well as going so much back and forth are the reasons why I could never ship Leyton. They just left me with such a bitter taste in my mouth and how people can call their relationship an epic lovestory is beyond me. To me they're one of the worst couples on oth. And though it takes two to cheat and I wanted to strangle both of them, Lucas is the one who is to blame for the most part. He is the one who is in a relationship, he's the one giving mixed signals, rushing into things and so on. I wouldn't say he was leading Peyton on, but he didn't exactly tell her to go away either. He never knows what he truly wants and treats his girls like they're dolls that he's just playing with. He's straight up a jerk and an asshole. And what does he do after the kiss? He goes home and proposes to Lindsey. Dude, just no. 2 horrible desicions in like 20 minutes. Is he trying to break some kind of record??? He can't keep hiding himself in relationships.

I also hate the storyline with Mouth and his boss. Nathan is being a bad child smh. Maybe he just likes the attention, but he should have shut down Carrie’s flirting when it first happened. Excited for the next episodes- episode 9 is one my my favs!

He sees them together and wants what they have but he doesn't understand that they worked so hard to be together. It wasn't always easy for naley, even though some times they can make it look that way, and thats what Lucas doesn't understand. He thinks that because two people love each other that should solve all your problems and thats not the case. Nathan and Haley learned that the hard way in season 2.

She kissed him and he got scared and did the most childish thing, which was propose to someone else to run/hide from his feelings. Nathan really annoyed me with the Carrie thing. She’s clearly flirting with him and he’s not setting boundaries. Brooke and Owen are cute. I’ll never get tired of stating how much I adore Mia and Millie.
