(I think there chemistry can be misinterpreted because Chad and Sophia had been married in real life, so they just play off of one another.

But I think the chemistry comes from Sophia and Chad like this is obviously after they divorced (I think?) but I think they were always just fire together. I think they both just didn't want to be lonely in this episode :/

I could recommend some, even though I haven’t read them in years, I’ll just need to go back to find out if they are still there and remember the names. However, I do recommend to try it at least until a couple of more seasons have passed because some summaries on that page might be spoilery and it’s much more difficult to navigate it than ao3.

2020-07-07 12:47:00 +0000 UTCI was never really into Brucas (I was always more involved on the Naley love-front than the love triangle and kinda just went with whatever was going on with them) but I love these scenes between Lucas and Brooke and I never really saw them as anything other than being there for each other as friends at the time. Though now I realise that if you ship them it is probably very much bait! I always forget how much Deb cracks me up, she's a wild time!

Also the cast of OTH is really supporting to the LGBT+ community so that’s not surprising Hilarie & Sophia played lgbt roles would be great if you could react to it even the Hilarie videos I want you to react even if you’ve already seen it. 😂

Deb was the hilarious part of the episode omg I’ve missed that queen so much she is so badass and there is a storyline coming in about her and someone else that is really unexpected I can’t wait to see your reaction !

Say what you want but that scene was beautiful. To see how far they’ve come in friendship was beautiful to me. But they would’ve made a beautiful family. 😊

2020-07-07 05:11:02 +0000 UTCMaybe behind the scenes the writers were playing into Brucas as people were pointing out however when I first watched OTH I didn't pay attention to any of the behind the scenes and I just saw a great, pure friendship. I think that Brooke and Lucas have gotten to such a great place with each other. Even IF either of them got feelings again I know 100% that Brooke would NEVER do that to Peyton and honestly she wouldn't do that to HERSELF again. I think that the reason they are having these moments is because they are at the same place in life right now with what they want. Brooke wants a family/child and Lucas does too (as he was jealous of Nathan and Haley's family so he proposed to Peyton and left when she wasn't ready, and got with a girl who WOULD marry him). So, I think that he likes Angie and the family feel and they can just relate on that level. (reposting this b/c I think my first disappeared).

And I kind of felt bad for Dan this episode, for the first time ever!! I’m glad Lindsay stood her ground and didn’t go back with Lucas, it would’ve been a mistake. I absolutely love the Brooke and baby Angie, they’re just the most adorable thing ever. The scene with her and Peyton trying to make her stop crying was so adorable and sweet. As was the scene of her spitting up on the design lol. I just love everything about Brooke this season. Now let’s talk BRUCAS!!! I liked them a lot back in season 3 even tho Leyton was always my favorite couple, and I loved their development. I definitely felt the vibes for Brooke and Lucas this episode, stronger than anything I felt for them in season 4. And it’s clear that the writers were baiting because that fanbase was and still is pretty popular. Their scenes with Angie were really sweet and they really looked like a little family. I don’t want or need or want another Leyton/Brucas triangle because it’s just tired at this point, it’s beating a dead horse with a stick. But you can also look at it as their friendship has really grown and evolved to this really sweet comfortable place but like you said the romantic undertones are there but doing another triangle would be suicidal.

I felt really sorry for him with the Jamie situation because he felt guilty about what happened, but I’m glad they got to put it behind them. Honestly, I get confused about the timeline a lot after season 4 happened, so I don’t even pay attention if it adds up. I love that Haley’s fear of clowns is a running theme! Baby Angie is so cute!!

What the writer’s were trying to do with Leyton didn’t reflect what the majority of the fan base wanted, so this is the result of that. Imagine you watching Supergirl and the writer’s keep giving you Supercorp moments because they know the majority of you love it but yet they refuse to go there. Same thing here.
