He was drunk and if she hadn't come back to Tree Hill he probably would be married to Lindsey. I like them as separate people but Leyton were always a little toxic and a lot of drama and Lindsey was healthy and an anchor for him. Though it was partially his book that made Lindsey not say I do. Skillz and Deb are weird but so amusing.

I don't think Haley is afraid of accepting when she's wrong which is something I really admire about her. Also love her journey into music again, I can totally understand her skepticism but this time she has a much better support system! Peyton's face at the end never fails to punch me in the gut. Kate has a wonderful voice, her cover of Hallelujah is one of my favourite songs on the show!

I know that's probably not fair bc they all made stupid mistakes, but Lucas just never learns .. that is what actually bugs me the most.

You should listen to Kate Voegele's (Mia) music. She is really SO good

2020-07-08 02:54:21 +0000 UTCLucas really doesn't handle rejection well. He wallows and does self-destructive things. When Brooke broke up with him the first time he went to a bar and met Nikki. The reason he even started dating Brooke was because Peyton rejected him. He tried to hook up with Brooke in New York after Peyton said she didn't want to get engaged right at that moment. He also asked out Lindsey when he thought Peyton had stood him up at his book signing in LA. He also has this bad habit where he won't leave the girl who dumped him alone until she gives him another chance, like Brooke in season 3. I think the reason Lindsey called him was because he probably kept calling her, and she just wanted him to stop. It wasn't a good time for him to get that call, but it's not her fault for wanting to move on. And honestly, if she knew that he proposed to her like an hour after kissing Peyton, she'd probably never speak to him again. Like others have said in the comments, I fully believe that he said he hates Peyton because he hates that he's still in love with her. He had been deluding himself for so long and denied what was going on, when literally everyone in his life was telling him that he was still in love with Peyton, and he couldn't deal with it and he lashed out at her. Ok I need to stop writing before I end up with a novel of my own here.

Two he is just mad cuz Lindsey realized his own feelings before he has lol and Lindsey isn't s1 Brooke she isn't gonna pine over him and beg for his love and reinsurance, she has more control over herself and her independence.

It was great to see Haley talking to Jamie like that instead of just brushing it off. And when he gave Dan the card🥺 I knew you’d be pissed when Lucas said that to Peyton lol. Lucas is just such a mess this season!! He’s taking his anger about Lindsey out on others. He grabbed that player at the game & said he hated Peyton... I can’t excuse that!! Brooke is amazing- she really loves Angie & was so strong during her surgery! Side note: I thought something was going to happen between Brooke & the doctor lol I’ve never liked Mia for some reason. Maybe it’s because of Kate’s acting (like Enzo said), but I just found her annoying most of the time.

Also don’t surprising but I really hated Lucas in this episode, the way he’s fake obsessed with Lindsey just to not hurt her feelings & actually is into Peyton is awful. She does not deserve to hear that from him. Loving Haley this episode and Brooke made me a lot emotional. ❤️

But he was sad, and drunk, and projecting his own guilt towards Peyton. And he's gonna apologize. I always felt like people were a lot harsher on Peyton and Lucas than on anyone else. But they all made mistakes, and they all try to be better in the end. I feel like Lucas, for all his faults, is really human to me, same as Peyton. Maybe that's why people judge them so harshly, because they're not as "perfect" as the others, but maybe that's also why they're my favourites, because they're so much more relatable. To me anyway. But that's a really personal opinion :)
