I had to comeback and comment because something was bothering me. Wonder Girls was a self produced group in the end, so JYP didn't have to have much focus on them so it doesn't even make sense for twice to be a reason they disbanded either. Internet's Nathan seems to be kinda guessing here lol....

2019-06-20 07:55:57 +0000 UTCThe thing about these videos is that they kinda gloss over or ignore a lot of what happened. The Wonder Girls impact on kpop is legendary, had back to back to back hits. Song of the year every year, that momentum in Korea was halted was when they came to promote in America, but they broke barriers. They lived in NYC for 3 years, learning English, doing normal stuff teenagers and early 20 sonethings do. They had their own movie on Nickelodeon, they did a 50+ date tour with Jonas Brothers at JBs peak, they had their own headlining tour... To be honest the lineup changes weren't as big of a deal as people think. All of the girls were and still are friends. Even when someone left, like Hyuna who left super early into their career, all of the group members are close to her to this day. Or when Sunmi left in the middle of their American promotions, they were all still best friends and they lived together in Korea.

She had the full support of her group members and JYP but the public wasnt too thrilled because that's just not how it works with idols. When she had her first child that same year the backlash got even worse. So you won't find a lot of active idols who are married or have kids. There are a few though...

2019-06-12 18:18:51 +0000 UTCNot sure you caught that HyunA that was mentioned in the beginning (who left the group after their debut) is the woman that went on to join Cube Entertainment & was in 4Minute and is also a huge solo star. Yeah, that was JYP there. Yeah, the big 3 is SM, YG, & JYP. I disagree as well that Twice had anything to do with Wonder Girls disbandment. I think it was just the group had went on for a decade & some of the members wanted to do other things & go solo. I'm pretty sure there's no woman that has stayed in a kpop group after marriage. There are a handful of men though who have married & even had a baby and stayed in their group.
