QUEENDOM SEASON 1 EPISODE 4 Reaction! | OH...MY...GIRL...

Also, I noticed that in Queendom season 1, there were mini-game (sticky notes, eating a lemon, open bags with feet) challenges where the winner got benefits. I was wondering why they were removed in Queendom season 2? It should be fun if Mnet keeps it!

Well, everybody watched Queendom 2 after Queendom 1. It seems I am the only one who watched Queendom 1 after Queendom 2. I regretted that I didn’t follow Lovelyz and AOA closely while they were still active. I love “Ah-Choo” and “Destiny” from Lovelyz. I love it even more when Oh My Girl was covering "Destiny" and wearing Hanbok during the performance. Definitely the best show in round 2! ❤

Oh My Girl is number one in this round for me. I literally cried watching them perform. There's so much synergy in the performance and everyone did amazing. And I'm saying this as a hardcore Moomoo.

I'm not going to go into my complete ranking, but I will say that OH MY GIRL's Destiny stage is my favorite performance from the entirety of Queendom, including the finals.

My ranking: 1. Oh my girl- that dance break wow! I loved it not only because they are one of my favorite girl groups, but it was so creative yet also their style 2. AOA- their voices sounded so good the whole cover was just so cool 3. Mamamoo- I loved the idea of having individual stages for each member to show their personalities 4. Bom- I honestly feel like the show is super biased against her so I think she did really good as a solo artist 5. Gidle- I loved the cover (and Yuqi’s hair) but I wasn’t really surprised at all 6. Lovelyz - I liked it but I feel like they tried too hard, I would’ve loved to see them do a lighter concept like they usually do but put a creative spin on it like oh my girl did also are you planning to check out a guide oh my girl? my close friend actually made a pretty good guide, it’s called a helpful guide to oh my girl nonstop era (or something along those lines) by the channel called kpopluv! she’s really new to editing and making videos but I think you would find the guide really informative! it would mean the most to her if you could check it out since you might want to get to know oh my girl better anyways! Also you don’t even know how many times I’ve typed this because I keep forgetting that on my iPad, when I press enter, it exits the whole texting box and discards everything im writing! I have to press shift and enter in order to skip a line haha

1 - Oh My Girl: Simply magical. One of my two favorite performances for the whole show. They transformed the song and totally made it their own. I don't know how you could not be an OMG fan after watching that performance. 2 - AOA: Sexy and fun. A really good version of the original, which is one of my favorite Mamamoo tracks. 3 - Bom: An excellent song and excellent showcase for Bom's vocals. I do feel sorry for her having to compete against the groups all by herself. Seems like such an unfair disadvantage. 4 - Mamamoo: A great performance but Good Luck is my least favorite AoA single. 5 - Lovelyz: Great song, powerful performance. It just isn't as powerful as the original and suffers in comparison. You can tell Lovelyz really wants to escape their cute, girly image. 6 - (G)Idle: Same deal as Lovelyz. It's an iconic song and their performance is similar to but doesn't match up to the original.

My ranking 1. Oh My Girl - Literally made my jaw drop. What a performance. 2. Mamamoo - They are so talented. The uncut performance is much smoother than the live broadcast with the reactions. Kinda makes it seem more scattered than it really was. Most talented group in Kpop. 3. AOA - Loved this, although I wanted more from their faces. The song is about empowerment and letting go of a toxic relationship. The dancers made this message clear for me, more than AOA. 4. GIdle - I like this one more than most folks, and they continue to show they’ll be monsters in the industry in the future. 5. Lovelyz - Better than before, but they feel a bit out of their league still. Which is strange, because Lovelyz is actually very talented vocally. 6. Bom - She doesn’t deserve this, or the way Korea treated her since her medical troubles. I love her and hope she continues to bring us great songs in the future.

To be perfectly honest, I was impressed with all of them except (G)I-dle, and I think it's because 2NE1 is one of those groups that you can impersonate the vibe/look but it's extremely hard to do their songs any better than them. They are untouchable in their stage presence and aura when performing their works. Knowing the ability of the (G)I-dle girls, I know they can do amazing things, but their performance just was lacking something. It also felt they were trying a little too hard. So I'd rank: 1 - Oh My Girl 2 - AOA 3 - Mamamoo 4 - Park Bom 5 - Lovelyz 6 - (G)I-dle

Yeah for me, Oh My Girl was far and away #1. They just destroyed the whole thing. Vocal performance was great and stage performance was top tier. I think that the self-evaluations were right for Idle too, it's a hugely popular song and the expectations after Latata were through the roof and it just came off as one of the weakest of the day when you compare them. Though, we see how getting those negative peer evals can help motivate a team (ohmygirl), so maybe it'll work for Idle too. Excited to continue this journey with you!

My ranking: 1. Oh My Girl (my fav performance by them! it made me teary eyed it was so good especially since i had low expectations since they were 6th for me for the 1st round. 2. Mamamoo (my fav performance by mamamoo, it was really creative and much better then their 1st round) 3. AOA (Theres something about them that just really catches you, however their 1st round was better for me but this was still good) 4. Lovelyz (Very suprising it was clear they wanted to prove a point and they did, but the others were just too good so 4th for me) 5. Park Bom (Really enjoyed her rendition of the song, its my fav performance by Bom) 6. Gidle (a great cover but its lacking compared to the other performances they were up against) Second round was really hard to judge. Also you're going to love next episode its so funny! and we finally get to see the groups interacting together I cant wait!

BTW as you saw during the voting MoonByul and Whasa were the only two of the group present this is because Solar was rushed to the hospital for a check up of her injured ankle and WheePup wasn't there because she wasn't feeling that well. During that period WheeIn had some health issues.

for me it was: 1. (G)I-dle. I don't understand how so many disliked their performance. I thought this one was better than their first tbh. 2. OMG. Mostly just because of how it sounded. But the performance was great too. 3. AOA. They pretty much stole the song away from Mamamoo. 4. Mamamoo. Their opening mini concert was dope. 5. Lovelyz. I understand it, but I would've liked to see them covering OMG instead tbh. 6. Park Bom. I'm generally not a fan of her voice, and I think she stands no chance against groups. Even with her status in the industry. groups are just more popular in general.

Queendom personal ranking Second round stages 1.Oh My Girl in my opinion the best stage of the whole competition and here they showed their full talent. 2.AOA most ICONIC stage of the Queendom series. 3.Mamamoo 4 mini concert stages 4.Lovelyz most surprising stage, here they showed if you let them choose the song, costumes and arrangement they can do a lot. 5.Park Bom good effort, but Cheetah was a bit disappointing. 6.(G)I-dle this was a complete misfit. But to be honest any 2NE1 song would be to high of a gamble. Disappointing after their first performance.
