Y'all honestly, this has to be my favourite episode so far. Watching them all interact with each other in these teams is just so wholesome and makes me a firm believer that the industry just needs infinitely more of these kind of relationships between idols.

2021-01-15 22:27:04 +0000 UTCOkay, now having watched your reaction, Lachie, I'm relieved that I'm not crazy. You reacted the same way that I did when I saw this episode. Nobody else I know has watched Queendom, so I had no reference. I would love to interview the production staff and find out if they _intended_ for the girls to switch rooms like they did. That wasn't part of the rules, on camera at least. My guess is that the production staff got lucky when the members started competing over Hwasa, and it just continued to evolve from there. The editing in this episode is fantastic, because they managed to find every awkward moment and told a very compelling mini-story in the choosing process. This episode is almost a separate show. But then, I love awkwardness. This episode is an awkwardness sundae, with a drizzle of awkward and an awkward cherry on top. I love it.

Re-watching the show for the 4th time - it is still fun! :) If you enjoy the performance aspect of the show as well as the “bonding&interactions”, I would recommend Good Girl :)

But I'm glad it was a no brainer this time since Solar & Wheein needs to rest for the unit round.

2021-01-14 16:43:32 +0000 UTCI felt bad for Hyejeong as well, and especially sweet Minnie who kept getting tossed around, but I felt the most empathy for poor Hyejini. She was so stressed throughout the episode, and all she wanted to do was relax and take a nap. When they pulled that prank on her in the end, I thought she was going to have a panic attack or jump out a window, the poor thing. It can’t be easy to have to choose between so many people who are all talented, and let them down without hurting anyone’s feelings. I agree that both Minnie and Hwasa have the same dreamy quality about their voices, which does make them a bit similar. Despite that, I’ll never stop hoping for a collaboration between the two of them in the future.
