I am late to this party but SuperM is everything to me! They are responsible for my journey back into Kpop. I was an old SHINee and EXO fan and left the scene for a bit just like you. I discovered SuperM and they were my gateway drug into becoming a NCTzen and reconnecting with my SHINee and EXO boys! Loving your reactions!!

Top tier performers; that's three words to describe this insane group. SM really proved that they're housing some of THE most hard-hitting people in the industry, with the debut of SuperM. And NCT is my absolute favorite group, so I'm very much looking forward to those videos!

I loved that they were going to collab with Marvel (because I’m a Marvel stan too) as well as that NCT members were in it (NCT was one of the first kpop groups I became a big fan of). Ten and Taemin are ULTs of mine, and they along with Kai are three of the best dancers in Korean music. Then you bring in Mark and Taeyong who are very distinctive in the way they rap and how they sound, plus Lucas who is visually distinctive and Baekhyun for vocals...it couldn’t get much better. With You is a song they did for a COVID Relief concert here in the US. One (Monster and Infinity) is actually the two songs Monster and Infinity combined.

I also heard their energy together on stage live is INCREDIBLE which isn’t a surprise, but i think it’s awesome that members from these different groups can some together with fantastic chemistry and create a whole unique sound as well that’s different but WORKS. I love that Ten, Lucas and Kai are getting more lines and center positions with every new song they release. Their album Super One is also hands down one of the best boy group albums of 2020.

2021-02-04 16:37:24 +0000 UTCthe "With You" video was from Lady Gaga's at home live concert! Taeyong's bat said "hit covid 19" or something like that lmao. They performed the song on their 2019-2020 winter tour (i saw them in chicago aldhflhsfl) and then released it on their next album! 100 took a bit to grow on me, but now i can jam to it despite the cheesiness that just comes with a lot of sm's english songs hahaha. "One (monster + infinity)" is just like SHINee's "Sherlock (Clue + Note)" in that it's a mashup of two different songs on the album! I thought it was a nice little tribute to SHINee. When SuperM debuted, they had some seeerious distribution problems (particularly with Ten and Lucas barely getting any lines/screentime) but it seems to be getting better with the newer stuff, so I'm hopeful that it will continue to get better! And yes, you got all the names right! There are some really good fancams from when they went on tour, i have some of them saved for a request down the line already!

And then the Mark + Taeyong + Lucas + Kai rap line?! LEE SOO MAN IS A GENIUS, because this is all his idea. I believe Capitol - the music giant here in the US - wanted a piece of kpop, and LSM created SuperM. The SuperM albums are fantastic, although I still with SuperOne had led off with Together at Home instead of One, but that's just me. Spoiler King Lee Taemin also spoiled Aespa. XD Really looking forward to NCT (all) - my favorite group of their generation.
