I definitely don't take that the wrong way my friend! I really appreciate your insight on it. IU seems to do this a fair bit as well and of course leaving things open to interpretation not only protects those that certain songs may have been about but also is an artistic move I can really respect. For me, the more interpretations a song can have, the better! As for a performance that really isn't a spoiler since it's not from her discog, I really recomend "Into the Unknown" from The Unseen concert.. yes, it's the frozen2 song, tho technicaly it isn't a cover since taeyeon is the oficial singer of the korean ending credits version (that is sung by My Chemical Romance in english)

I love this performance so much! I hope u don't take this the wrong way, but i feel like it's better to refrain from associating taeyeon's lyrics to real ppl as that's the exact reason why she doesn't release self written songs (Fine isnt written by her). She did it for "I" and then never released a self written song again till literally her last album (she co-wrote a bside on What do I Call You) .. as she puts it: "I'm mindful of misunderstings ppl can have (..) even if I imagine smth and write a story, someone could think it's a real life story.. I'm afraid of situations like that too" I know u meant no harm, and lots of ppl assume the same u did, i just thought i'd share taeyeon's side of it
