Cannot wait for you to listen to the other entire albums!! I dont even know which song they will perform along with DCM because honestly they could do them all haha Btw the whistle in attention that you liked was also Minho whistling haha

DCM is such a bright album overall and as you say, any track could have been the title - but I love that it's DCM. Each song tackles a different genre and as you can hear, they're all amazing. Minho's vocals have always been there, but previous to The Story of Light, was really most obvious on their Japanese releases. I have no idea why. You're in for such a treat with album listens - some have are themed in concept/sound (Misconceptions of Us, Everybody, Odd/Married to the Music, 1 of 1), while other such as DCM aren't. Key: I cannot WAIT until you listen to FACE and Hologram. Jonghyun: omg. You're going to lose your mind when you hit his solo work. You're not prepared. My standouts: Kind, DCM, Body Rhythm.

I've been a shawol for 10 years and the majority of my favorite SHINee songs are b-sides. You're in for a ride 😏 I always tell people the titles attract fans to SHINee but the b-sides are what chain us down.

I would say none of the songs on this album are gonna be my favorite SHINee song, but it's just so nice to hear their voices fresh this way. But they absolutely struck me with the title track because in terms of construction, there's something fascinating and surprising about the combination of sounds and genres in it. THAT's what I love SHINee for. They can take my ears places I've never gone before, and I have to listen really closely to get the complexity of what they do with it. Also lolol, that's exactly what I thought!! That the title track is like a hybrid between hip hop, a ballad structure??? and I thought the mystery element was like latin chords/growth. And I don't even know if that's right hahaha. I absolutely love when I don't immediately know what I'm hearing. SHINee never fails me on that on any album.
