the creator said a kiss was scripted this episodes but couldn’t do it bc of covid. i guess they filmed episodes out of order though??? bc there was a kiss in the first ep

Both are right in some ways and both are wrong in others and they are expressing themselves in ways that hurt themselves and their loved ones. Poor Emily is stucked in the middle but she does put herself there, because of her feelings for Sue but also because she wants to unite her family. It's sad that most of their troubles (if not all) would be resolved if they could live in today's day and age.
