Just gonna leave this here : Park Soyeon is my ult. Girl has some abilities. I'm excited for you! I also got really weird vibes from Chanmi at first, but her defining trait really IS desperation. She's just stressed out through and through and is not very confident, but still tries to look VERY confident. That's why she always seems off, but you'll see, I genuinely think she's a good person. Interesting note about that ; compared to PD48, a lot of the trainees who went to PD101 were really trying one last time to become an idol, and a lot of them had failed attempts. That's in part why it was more competitive. I also think a lot of them had a more intense personality, compared to the quiet/cute/feminine trainees of PD48! Overall, what I like about PD101, is that there's almost no autotune for any performance, what you see is what you get. But, because of that, there are lowest lows...but also higher highs. It's not as even as PD48. Amazing for both cases anyway. (and also, the winners of PD101 were the real winners, no one was rigged in)

This was the first show of its type and they weren’t sure how well it would do, so companies might have been reluctant to send their trainees to the show with a longer contract term. And MNET clearly changed their editing since this season (for a reason).

Been so long since I've seen this season but rewatching it with ya for my Pledis girls and just coz I miss it overall! :D So much memories T-T btw, all the Pledis girls in this season are in Pristin since you were unsure :) they just added 3 more members to the lineup when Pristin officially debuted
