2021-12-03 21:08:25 +0000 UTCAlso the emisue scene was a parallel to the first episode of season 1. Both were at the orchard. Emily was standing on the tree for sue in season 1. Now sue is standing on the tree this season. It rained in both episodes.

2021-12-03 05:42:43 +0000 UTCThis is definitely in my list of top favorite episodes of Dickinson! Loved every part of it (although I always wish we could have more Sue). The trip to the future was the best and I love that they used it as not only a way to show Emily her legacy but also to allow them to put into words Emily's sexuality since they didn't have words for it in the 1860s. It was very clever. The month of Hailee Steinfeld has been so much fun and I do hope you get a chance to check out Arcane bc it is an absolute masterpiece. The animation is revolutionary, the story is epic and the acting is fabulous. Hailee's character is sooooo good and such such badass! Next to Dickinson it is probably my favorite show of the year.
