Knowing Bros (ep 227) is fantastic, each member gets their time to shine, it’s filled with laughs from beginning to end, and ‘guess the answer’ section gave us some lovely bits of OMG trivia. 2020 Nonstop comeback time. Runtime 1hr 30mins. Omniscient Interfering View (aka The Manager ep 123) is a wonderful behind-the-scenes glimpse of their home lives and backstage antics, both funny and soft throughout. 2020 post-Nonstop and Dolphin popularity explosion. Runtime first 55mins of the episode. Miracle Expedition was their own variety show recorded in Dec 2017 shortly before Secret Garden was released, so pre-first win. It’s full of the 7 girls goofing around, playing games together, having fun, and enjoying food. You get to see a lot of their group dynamics and characters. It’s nine 20min episodes, so it would take 3 hours to watch. Finally Weekly Idol and Idol Room. Always good go-to variety content, the question here is just where to start from. My recommendation is to begin with their Sept 2018 appearances on both shows for their Remember Me comeback. Idol Room (episode 19) aired first and the main segment of the episode focuses on different pieces of trivia for each member, so not only is it fun, but you’ll learn a little something about each member too. I think it was their first variety show I watched when I was discovering Oh My Girl and felt like a great introduction. Runtime 1hr. Weekly Idol (episode 373) aired a couple of days later and while it also promoted Remember Me there were different games played which keeps things refreshing. It’s also the introduction to Hyojung’s now legendary aegyo songs which Weekly Idol have used ever since. Full of cuteness, comedy, and cringe. Runtime 43mins. Earlier Weekly Idol appearances are good, but you can tell the girls are still more nervous and inexperienced on such shows. Later and more recent ones they’re more seasoned pros and well known. Remember Me era’s a good entry point as it’s after they’ve grown in confidence collecting their first-ever win earlier in 2018 with Secret Garden, but still relatively unknown so that they come prepared to introduce themselves.

2021-04-05 08:29:48 +0000 UTCAlbum and variety recommendations, ok! Let’s start with albums since that's easier. I'd go with the 2019 Fall in Love repackage album next. That's got the whole The Fifth Season album on there, plus Bungee and Tropical Love. The Fifth Season is packed with awesome bsides, Tropical Love is also great too and you might not get to it if you only do the 'normal' Fifth Season album listen. After that, you've got the 2018 mini albums Remember Me (from September) and Secret Garden (from January). So if you want to do a short listen skip straight to Remember Me, but if you want a longer full album listen, go with Fall in Love. Variety is a bit more tricky since there are so many good options. The album prior to this, Bungee Fall In Love, was a repackage of fifth season and included only two extra tracks (bungee itself and the criminally underrated tropical love.). That was their first and only full album so far. For variety, their Knowing Brothers and weekly idol episodes from the nonstop era are good - in particular you get a good feeling of how they interact and the food chain and their competitiveness. Pretty funny too. right before the era with their first win with secret garden they had a short variety called Miracle Expedition that also illustrates their chemistry well.

They can do ANYTHING istg Their Weekly Idol episodes are really cute! And I don't know if there's a bootleg version available, but the VOD of the concert with all WM groups is available on vlive for purchase and both the concert and the behind the scenes are very cute and fun! For albums, Windy Day and Secret Garden are my favorites 8)
