These stages are all so good. I love the creativity and passion every group is bringing to the competition. Like you said, the eliminations suck. Not only because we lose groups that we love, but it makes the guys less likely to take chances on different concepts. As far as ranking goes, everyone gets an A+ from me. It’s hard to rank Pentagon against the others, because they did this performance for Jinho, and not for the competition. Everyone did well, and provided an excellent episode. Excited for you continue on! ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, that was real fire during The Boyz’s performance! I still get shocked every time I watch that performance it was crazy omg, hands down one of my top 3 RTK performances! If you want to see a bit about how they put together their incredible performances, The boyz releases dance practices that detail the weeks leading up to the performance! They’re really interesting to see how the performance comes together, I recommend! I was also a really big fan of Verivery’s Photo performance but I feel like it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves generally :( I literally got chills the whole time the facial expressions, synchronization, story, everything was just so well connected!! I’m sooo excited to see you get into these groups on YouTube! There are sooo many groups tho so take it easy! No pressure to learn every single one quickly 😂 Already can’t wait for next week!

This was hands down my favorite round of performances. I loved all of them and had an absolutely impossible time trying to rank them. I remember watching this episode for the first time and just sitting there with my mouth open during Reveal though.

here i am with another essay. the we must love and reveal: catching fire are probably going to make it into my top10 played songs again on my spotify this year. all the groups just put so much thought, practice, effort and attention to detail for these stages, and as you said, the elimination aspect is BS. i remember ranting furiously about it at the time, thinking one or two groups would miss out on continuing to show such amazing stages and continue to be acknowledged, which was the whole point of bringing these underrated groups, just to eliminate two of them by the final still upsets me. but that aside, i really think all of them put on such incredible performances to be proud of, rtk is very special to me bc it got me so into the groups i didn't know at the time (which was literally everyone except pentagon and oneus) admiring them so much for all their work and creativity for these stages. as we continue, if you can believe it, somehow, the performances just keep getting better.

Some of my favorite performances of the show in this episode. Just incredible stuff. (really looking forwards to you diving more into ONF and Verivery 8D the quality is CONSTANT) for GolCha they had a shared ep of Weekly Idol with WekiMeki, and like all the combined eps of WI it was a REALLY good time, so that might be a fun way to get to know them more! As a Pentagon fan, RTK was the first time that the group members actually spoke about the issues they faced, in terms of possible disbandment. When the E'Dawn dating "scandal" occurred, it really impacted their popularity. It's weird man. Idols are really expected to keep a happy demeanor at all times, and seeing Hui vocalize worries that a lot of Universe had for years was hard. I'm very happy that RtK positively benefitted not just Pentagon in terms of popularity, but every single group. Every group had an increase in sales after the show, as well as show wins. Also I guess TOO had a contractual dispute and haven't released anything since the show. Good news is that they have announced a comeback for this month (I think) and have changed their name to TO1. So that's a thing.
