LOL... No Dara is not the maknae... she's just a vampire. Seriously that woman does not age. Fun fact Dara's younger brother was also an idol in MBLAQ. He's also good friends with IU.

You are right, CL is the leader and main rapper of the group and Bom is the official main vocalist, although like you I believe that CL is a main vocalist as well. She is definitely a powerhouse and when you combine that with the natural rasp in her voice, it’s just magic. 2NE1 are known for their more techno dance kind of songs, which is a shame because most people don’t understand just how talented vocally and versatile they really are. That’s why I love showing off the more stripped down performances like these that really highlight what they have to offer. So, what I had said was that Dara was known to have the most outrageous hairstyles, for example having half of her head shaved, and she has the light and sweet voice. It’s funny you thought she was the maknae, because she’s actually the exact same age as Bom. They were both born in 1984, Bom in March and Dara in November. Then there’s CL in 1991, and Minzy the youngest was born in 1994. I Love You is actually one of my favorite songs as well, but as you’ll see in their mv it’s a lot more techno and pop and synth. I much prefer this more laidback version with the guitar and their vocals completely on show. Lonely also has an mv, but If I Were You doesn’t. That song was also written by CL herself, the super multitalented queen. She was my original ultimate bias who could do it all before Hwasa came along and stole the top spot in my heart. I would just die if they ever collaborated on anything.

2021-04-08 19:52:58 +0000 UTCYou actually had Minzy & Sandara 😍 switched in those last 2 performances. If you go back & look, Dara had some kind of a hat on in all 4 performances. Minzy is the maknae & is actually 10 years younger than Bom & Dara. Wow, you picked 4 fantastic performances of 4 amazing songs! As good as their mv’s are their live performances, whether it’s concerts, year end award shows or these more intimate ones, are on another level! Speaking of, you need to check out their reunion performance at Mama 2015...epic! Just be sure to watch the one that starts with CL’s Hello Bitches... In a weird way it’s a little unfortunate that songs like Fire & I Am The Best are/were so popular because a fair amount of casual fans only no 2ne1 for that sound but as you just saw those are just the tip of the iceberg. And yes, as good a rapper as CL is, her singing voice is probably just as good. As I said, I love all these songs but Lonely is my favorite & is probably one of the most profoundly sad songs I’ve ever heard. Like she wants so badly to love this guy who loves her but in the end it’s just not meant to be. 😭 Can’t recall now if it was on Queendom but you may know it because it’s kind of like So Hot (Wonder Girls) or ITTNW (SNSD), eveyone covers it! Honestly if I could like this post more than once I would!
