During the Water Color MV, was it deemed too dangerous for Wheein or the Peacock? 🤣

2021-04-24 22:30:56 +0000 UTCHi Lachie!! I completely agree with you, one word to describe this album is definitely “pretty”. My favorite of the album has to be Butterfly and Ohoo. I don’t think Butterfly needs an explanation but has for Ohoo one of the things that got me hooked was the medley. A friend of mine said that it feels like a small lolly but it tastes like a full shot of serotonin. Some fun facts about the album: Water Color genre is New Jack Swing. Ohoo was written from the perspective of ggomo, Wheein’s pet cat. Wheein explained that she wondered what ggomo was thinking as he looks out of the window and being the talented artist she is... she wrote a song about it. Springtime is a song written for moomoos. Wheein took part in writing the lyrics and composing the medley. She said that this song consists of her promise that she will fully bloom next to the fans every spring as well as a thankful message to moomoos for wait for her. No Thanks was performed way back during Mamamoo’s 4 seasons s/s concert in 2018. At that time, she had only composed the 1st verse. So in the actual song, the 1st verse was her voice back in 2018 while the 2nd verse is her voice now. Wheein decided not to re-record it because she doesn’t think she’ll be able to express the emotions as well as she did back then. The preparation for this album actually started back in 2018. Songs like Ohoo and No Thanks were written around that timing. During the Water Color MV, they had an illustration edit. It was supposed to be Wheein in the water but during filming, it was deemed too dangerous. Therefore, they went with the illustrations and I have to say I’m glad they did. Once again, thank you for reacting to Wheein!! (edited) oof damn I did not think it will be this long...... I apologize.
