I completely get Joey, the one time she glams up is the one time he notices her as something else. I don't know anyone who ships them but if I was one of them I'd be upset if the way they got together was so shallow and inauthentic.

2022-03-25 07:36:19 +0000 UTCWhen this show was on TV, I loved Joey so much! Everytime I watch it, I like her a bit less. We begin to see the main reason in this episode. Joey as a character has a tendency of knowing what she wants, in this case Dawson, getting what she wants and then deciding she doesn't want it anymore. It seems to be an on going arch of Joey only wants things that are unobtainable and once she has them she is like 'Oh wait, it's real now? nah. I don't want it... I only want the fantasy of it' Not to say I hate her, but of the core 4, she def was my favorite in early viewings and has now become 4th place to me behind Dawson, Pacey and Jen just because she drives me nuts the same way Dawson drives Juli nuts with his annoying personality traits!

There are some beautiful storylines and characters coming up that had me sobbing and loving every moment of what's to come. I have never seen anyone react to this amazing show so I'm really excited for this journey.
