This is a long shot but I’ll give it a try. And forgive my ignorance but my first & only experience with kdramas is the HdL reactions here. For some reason about a year ago I got some clips from a kdrama in my recommendeds & out of curiosity I watched some that were subbed. Like Sec Kim it was a work AU with a boss & his assistant but she seemed mush more kind of mousy & introverted. She wore glasses & had brown girly hair. There was a scene where there was kind of a workplace field day. For all I know I could be talking about Sec Kim but I just looked at some clips from that & I got a different vibe from the 2 leading ladies. Sorry if I sound like an idiot but if anyone knows what I’m talking about I’d be grateful….thanks!

you should watch Shut Up Flower Boyband. The title sounds terrible but its actually a really good drama

I agree with you. If you think her acting in HDL is great, in my Mister she was magnificent. Not only about Jieun’s acting but the story itself will make you think of the drama long after you watched it. IMO, this is one of the best Kdrama that was ever made. From the cast, story and the OST…what a masterpiece! I do hope that you will react to this at one point.

I voted for My Mister and Pinocchio. If ever My Mister wins (though it seems far off), you'll have to prepare yourself on that. It's far from your usual romcom or korean dramas you have watched. It's a really heavy one... This might take a toll on you, but I really want you to witness why we think IU has shown her best (acting) here so far.
