We leave for PFW Mens in two days. This is the busiest time of year for us: we have mens week, return home for a few weeks, then women's week. We barely have time to turn around a single video before another video is due haha. Extremely excited, this is gonna be an awesome fashion week.

I'm not sure if this is a common opinion or not. I do think they're quite good at it but I don't really aspire to own it because I'm not sure where it would fit in my life. Also, great video.

Lots of good inspiration from painters and other artists in this regard. Sterling Ruby has a studio uniform that he loves and Julie Mehretu usually looks pretty cool!

At some point throughout the video I kind started feeling like a hypocrite because most of my last purchases aren't clothes that I wear to work in. I wouldn't say that I have beaters, but I definitely have work clothes and past time clothes. any thoughts on this? Important note, I work with mentally disabled kids (meaning I can always get dirty).

So many practical take home messages without being overly prescriptive or preachy. Between this and yesterday's video by Rian Phin I see a very hopeful trend towards advocating for sincerity. I definitely feel the "irony fatigue" from most online discourse. Love how you managed to describe that illusive balance of subtlety and weirdness in fashion. It speaks to what I love about this hobby and I wouldn't be able to verbalise it as well. Also, I love what I assume is now a running gag of blatantly misnaming famous actresses 😂

So many younger fashion influencers started with streetwear and as someone who's loved streetwear since the late 80's, it always makes me sad how they're always like "look at me as a dumbass teenager lol" like streetwear aren't to be taken serious and are just for kids. And not so much in fashion, but I know a bunch of people irl who laugh at their emo teen years. Nice to see someone who stands by where they comes from. 👍

And the last piece I picked my is a 2018 ERD Christie’s Paris staff jacket which is a personal grail that I’m so happy to have. I’ve loved ERD for a while and I’m glad that you two agree with me(especially now, they have been better than ever before) thank you for the work you two do it has helped me become a better “fashion person” for years
