2022-04-26 03:07:37 +0000 UTCYes I am not sure if they based this on Jennette's mother or not but I do know that she didn't want to do Sam and Cat and that her mother was dying of cancer the year this show was on and she pressured Jennette into doing it. Based on the short films she did and the podcast I've seen I sort of feel like the writers were poking fun at her mother then again the show parent who lives through the child's talent is common in Hollywood so who knows really???? I hope one day you can react to some of Jennette's podcast she's very well spoken, and down to earth. Very insightful young woman.
