Yeah like Ivan was in the wrong but he didn't force Kirin to say those things, if didn't want to then he wouldn't have said it. I do like Kirirn but I agree the fandom put him on such a pedestal but why am I not surprised.

2022-06-03 22:57:15 +0000 UTCThis episode annoyed me. The writers made Kirin seem like he did nothing wrong and he was forced to hurl slurs. Ivan definitely shouldn't have provoked him, but he could have pushed Ivan into the lockers in anger or something and left and it would've been better. Now a lot of the fans put Kirin on this pedestal and ignore the fact that there are other instances where he was racist and homophobic. Kirin was also acting like the coach went jail and he'll never see him again which made no sense to me. He can still have dinner and thanksgiving with the man. I'm also pretty sure he'll get another job.
