Yeah In the name of being real, I usually am very respectful of my family, even my closest grandma hates that I’m not religious and my whole fam is veryyy religious, but since it upsets them that I’m not, I will still bow my head when they pray before eating and I will say “amen” with them bc it doesn’t bother me to do so, knowing it makes them happy. Not that I’m required to do that. And even tho I’m like that and normally so respectful, there is one grandma (a different one) who I didn’t have a close relationship with because she was also a spawn of Satan lol. she once cornered me while I was sobbing and hyperventilating and told me no man will ever love you. They will all be like your abusive father. And she was a genuinely horrible person. When she died I said “shes looking up at us from hell right now” and I know how disrespectful that is. But she raised my abuser to be abusive and she tried to prevent me from being born and was so awful so I lived my truth in that moment.

2022-09-17 16:26:07 +0000 UTCThis episode with Jen and Grams always breaks my heart bc Jen truly is in such a low place right now. I truly sympathize with Jen here in a lot of aspects because I went through the same process of grief with a terrible person (an abusive parent) and those feelings of loss but also not wanting to sit around and hear everyone pretend they were a saint is so real. When it comes to Abby, though, I love to hear you drag her bc she really was terrible. Can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the season and so excited for you to start s3!! It's truly amazing.

2022-09-16 20:08:01 +0000 UTCYea Grams wasn’t wrong. Everyone deals with grief differently but Jen went in on Grams to far. It’s weird watching this 20 years ago I thought she was being harsh but now I get Grams. Thanks for the reactions Queen keep ‘em coming ❤️❤️
