I ship them. The first time I watched this series, I loved Joey she was my favorite. Then I got a friend into watching the show and they messaged me and they were like 'Man, I really hate Joey' and I was shocked and they were like 'She self sabotages. Whenever she has happiness, she ruins it for herself. She is just a person who chooses misery.' I have to say after they said that, every time I watch the show now, Joey is my least favorite part because I agree with what they said and I see it more and more. So I don't think the issue is the Dawson/Joey ship. I think the issue is Joey. Ship her with any guy in the show and I think she is the problem that makes things not work. I think another big factor for myself and other Dawson/Joey shippers is we really only have two straight main characters in the show, Pacey and Dawson. So if you don't ship Joey with Pacey, your not left with many other options. For me personally I'm a die hard Pacey/Andie shipper. To me they are the perfect match so for Dawson that leaves Jen and Joey and I think Joey is a much better fit for Dawson.

Definitely binge S3 asap. It’s so good and I’m sure you’ll love it even more than 2. I hope we don’t have to wait too long and you can start squeezing in some shortly. Can’t wait. I’ve sent her a link to episodes with original music, but unsure if she’ll use those for future episodes. Music is so key to scenes.

I don't think he did anything wrong, but I do think that what he did (technically what the police did) forces Joey to go against her dad. They could have found other ways, planting bugs in the house etc., instead of forcing Joey to help gather evidence.

it's so rare friends to lovers trope in real life and in tv shows it just shows it doesnt work. Either it's terrible like dawson and joey or its cringy like betty and archie no offense to those who ship it but just my point on childhood friends to lovers trope dont work for me personally and it just ruins the friendship. Joey and dawson are polar opposites and dawson honestly likes the idea of joey and the idea of a fictional movie love and clearly it doesnt get him anywhere. Yes he has improved these last couple of episodes but he cant think joey is this perfect movie character with an easy ongoing life. Joey isnt perfect here, i love her but goddamn sometimes she makes reasons to push him away but this one time i agree for her reasonings but i also agree that dawson didnt do anything wrong this one time lol. Overall its on and off its on and off, how do you ship that lol I know i ship delena who has had a share of on and off but at least theres more memories, dates and romance than on and off moments and theres a connection and passion and drive to be together forever. Dawson cringes me out and joey just seems like she thinks dawson is an easy and safe option just cuz he knows her more than any newcomer but he honestly isnt worth it and joey needs to work on herself and so does dawson cuz this fictional fairytale aint it lol

i didn’t even know ppl seriously shipped dawsey until i got to twitter. they have nothing going for them and are the worst versions of themselves when together 😭😭 the childhood friends to lovers trope does not always make a ship good 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this finale! I always get emotional seeing Jack and Jen because their friendship means the world to me. I remember the first time I watched this show, I was afraid they were gonna write Jack out of the show like a one and done gay character for a storyline but thankfully that was far from the case. Also, god Pacey is just such a fantastic character, Joshua Jackson never fails to bring such great emotion to every scene and he only gets better from here. Also, the situation with Dawson and Joey is so tricky but Joey is so overwhelmed at the moment she is definitely better off single right now. I am incredibly excited for your reactions to s3, I can definitely say you won't be expecting anything that happens and it remains one of the best seasons of the show, it's incredible.
