just came back to finish the episode, Will doesn't have powers, but how he's using the lights to communicate kinda gets explained, but doesn't really get fully explained until season 4

2022-11-02 06:47:02 +0000 UTCthe intro has always been like this ! by the way just a not so fun fact, Stranger Things is based on real life. the experiments that El went through are based on the real life CIA project MKUltra (featured in the episode when Hopper is reading the newspapers) in the 1950s, where the government tried to develop mind control and brainwashing drugs through intense human experimentation. although, Stranger Things is mainly based on the conspiracy theory about something called the 'Montauk Projects'. in the 1900s, there was a military base where several people claim to have been brainwashed as kids and forced to take part in mind control experiments. just some interesting facts i thought i'd tell you.
