I really ship nini and ricky, but i kinda get where you are coming from, thought i dont think it would be anrealistic, i know some child sweethearts who are still together and thrifing. actually i reall like nini and wasnt really the biggest gina fan in season 1, so i find it interessting that you already like her that much. But im generell not the biggest "mean girl" fan, idk for whatever reason they kinda trigger me lol. i personallydidnt really like santana as much. I was fine with her, but she was just to mean for me, even thought glee wouldnt be the same without here. Anyway im really looking foward to watch the next reactions.. (but also there about 17 years old, not 12 haha)

2022-11-17 04:32:43 +0000 UTCas always love seeing you react to this show and i love that you love gina. also juli i don’t think you noticed but you linked a stranger things reaction for your onedrive link!! the ej and nini duet scene is one of the funniest in the season in my opinion but it’s definitely unprofessional…. sadly a theme with the high school musical the musical casting. not saying ricky and nini were the wrong choices to play troy and gabriel but maybe they were chosen at the wrong time in their lives to play these characters. you talking about ricky not wanting things to change - well no spoilers of course but i’ve always felt a lot of ricky’s chase for nini this season is based on his obvious fear of change so i’m glad you’re of the same opinion. obviously he still has feelings for her but even in ep 1 he was already asking why things have to change and he got the idea to go after nini when he found out his dad isn’t fighting for his relationship with his mom and this episode he mentioned not liking things feeling/being different. you’re spot on with what you’re saying about nini this episode. and it’s especially annoying because she was getting mad at ricky for being unprofessional and being here for the wrong reasons. it was understandable in getting mad at him for it but to do essentially the same thing? i’m also so happy you’re saying ricky has a story outside of the love triangle because i can’t really say why ppl say this without spoiling you but a certain part of this fandom loves to say his story only revolves around girls when his entire character arc is about something completely different. you definitely get to know the characters more as time goes on especially in s2 and ESPECIALLY in s3. especially with carlos, kourtney (nini’s friend), ashlyn and gina. if there’s one complaint about s1 it’s like every character besides nini and ricky and kind of ej (until 1x05) are background characters. gina’s character we dive more into starting next ep !! gina in my opinion has the same factor as all the “second main” girls have. they’re always more interesting and fun to watch on screen than the actual main girl of the show. a lot of it also has to do with how good the girl who plays her (sofia wylie) is at acting. everything you said about ricky and nini as a couple i completely agree with. in my opinion what you’re saying about them in this season gets more and more obvious as the show goes on. they remind me so much of dawson and joey in dawson’s creek and i mean that in the worst way 😭😭
