Also to the question, i shipped nini and ricky more in season 1 (after that not really that much) cause i just felt more chemie. i liked them as characters, and they just gave me "endgame" vibes, so was more interested in them. Cant really explain it, I just liked them

2023-01-02 22:11:09 +0000 UTCI love this ep. This is the one where i kinda started liking gina and ricky together, i also started liking gina a lot more this ep, she was cute. I first wasnt the biggest ej fan,but he starts to grow from here, and i kinda love him now. ninis song was great as always. she has talent. big red and ashlyn are cute, just like seb and carlos (even thought, i wish we could see more from them. also i get the thing with the teachers (im also often not the biggest fan of the adult stories in teen shows), but love miss jenn,for me she is one of the best things about this show, she is hilarious. i could never got bored from here, and here storylines.

2022-12-23 08:00:52 +0000 UTCyes ej is 18. now i won’t lie this ej arc is hilarious to me 😭😭 i’m not sure what he expected but watching as his following count went down had me crying. but you’re completely right and i’m interested in ej’s growth as well. i don’t know if i like where his character goes exactly in s2 (mainly the second half) but i think he does have growth in certain aspects. i love that gina is so used to change and ricky is afraid of it. he can maybe kind of be the constant in her life while she’s the change he needs in his. also you remember how ricky said he feels like nini is the only person he can go to for advice but gina was there for him and he was comfortable with telling her. and she gets it completely because she’s been through similar feelings. i love nini and gina making amends. and seeing gina put herself out there and start to make friends. it’s just so nice to see. also juli idk if you get any of those vibes but a lot of the fandom headcanons nini as a lesbian. i definitely do too ngl. also nini trying to write for herself and ashlyn telling her to write for herself is interesting. i really think she’s so focused on boys and and like kourt said seeing herself through their eyes that she loses focus of herself. this is the first time she’s written a song about how she sees herself. i honestly still have beef with her mom for saying to her now instead of letting her have one last night. i think ricky has unfinished business with nini and needs to be in a place where he can accept change to be with gina so i like that maybe they don’t get together so soon if they get together. there’s a lot of growing for both of them to do ESPECIALLY ricky. i think maybe ricky and nini getting back together can in a way help them as characters like you were mentioning last ep reaction; them realize maybe this isn’t what they really want. also yes i’m glad you noticed how his mood immediately dampened. him and gina are helping each other so much and it sucks that this connection is essentially getting taken away from them and gina is pushing him away. i think in regards to the teachers i don’t mind them together but like you said it’s hard to care about the adults. (also idk if you noticed but in the beginning of the ep after nini and ricky are done rehearsing and nini is flirting gina looks away sadly in the background and ricky checks to see if she heard/saw it)
