2023-01-26 05:40:47 +0000 UTCi totally get that and i definitely get why people would ship nini and ricky! in regards to what i said at the end SPOILER yeah he said after season 2 that he always planned to break nini and ricky up and at the end of season 3 he also said that after they filmed the ricky and gina car scene in episode 5 of season 1 he knew he wanted them to get together at some point he just didn't know how or when. and before that in an interview after season 1 he said gina was only supposed to be a plot device for ricky and nini but he realized when they were filming episode 5 he wanted to write towards ricky and gina more because of the chemistry that he felt and after season 3 he added on to that saying that was also when he realized he wanted them to get together at some point down the road

I know people hate this season but I actually think it's pretty good, and I think it's the best season when it comes to the musical they do. No offense to HSM or the Season 3 musical but Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies and probably my favorite when it comes to the songs. You should totally react to it some time (The cartoon not live action). I also feel the need to say that when this was coming out the actors who play Nini and Ricky were dating and I think because that relationship ended badly some forget that people went crazy for the two of them together so that' why they got the big duet in the HSM 2 medley. I say this as someone who doesn't ship either Rini or Rina. Looking forward to more HSMTMTS reactions!

2023-01-26 04:49:49 +0000 UTCpredictable doesn't have to mean bad i actually like a lot of predictable relationships sometimes but (and i know you won't agree because you said you ship nini and ricky and that's fine) like juli said she likes to see a relationship actually build up and in regards to rinis relationship they had no build up imo and were already a thing before the show even began which doesn't help establish a connection you know what i mean like ricky and nini are a very prime example of "oh they're an than obvious endgame couple relationship" and it gets kind of tiring to watch when you seen it so many times. i don't know if you've seen dawson's creek but it's very much joey and dawson vibes imo personally but i like i said if you ship rickt and nini you wouldn't agree which is fine we're all going to have different ship opinions SPOILERS i do think the most interesting part of the relationship is the fact that they weren't written as an endgame ship according to the creator. to me that's not very predictable at all that they weren't ever meant to last at least according to the creator.

He's kinda hiding in that relationship, and using it as the anchor he doesn't feel he has right now, and that's not healthy.

2023-01-26 01:44:07 +0000 UTCreally glad you liked the first episode! i found the first half of the season really promising and there's quite a few moments that i love even if i'm not the biggest fan of this season so i'm excited to see you react to it. and not going to lie i never finished the second season so i'll be kind of watching it with you for the first time in full once you reached episode 7 of this season (i know what happens and i watched it through my twitter timeline but i never watched s2 in full 😭😭) gina's SO amazing she's so talented and her actress is just as talented. she's THE it girl you said. i know people probably ship rini on your patreon and youtube too even though rina shippers have kind of taken over on your page but your commentary on the relationship and you trying not to trash on them too much is funny I'm sorry HDHFJSJ it's interesting because ricky has finally learned to communicate his feelings after not being able to all last season and now nini is the one that doesn't want to communicate/is having trouble with it and that sucks. and also his dad waiting until the last minute to tell him that they're moving too like damn can he catch a break i completely forgot about this miss jenn plot with her ex. do i like it? no not really i kind of wish they wouldn't waste time on it but i never really find adult plots in teen drama kind of shows interesting anyway. at least it's related to the musical. that triple stare back at gina ricky did is really interesting to me. it really makes you wonder what's going on in his head because truly where does their relationship stand? they haven't talked since opening night and back before she left they weren't just friends clearly so it's like how do you even talk going forward without there being tension or awkwardness.. also i'm glad you're feeling the tension because the way ricky and gina are acting towards each other it's very tense like seemingly they don't know how to act with each other or at least ricky does not know how to act towards gina. YOUR FACE AT THE RINI DUET IM CRYINFJCJDKE. it's just me being a hater but i would have been pissed if that was me watching them like we're trying to do a sing-along all together why are you having a moment at our party in front of everyone 👎🏻👎🏻 "there's something in the back of his head and he's not ready yet to confront it" RIGHT JULI! it's actually funny that you say that because during a preseason 2 interview someone (i think the creator) said the same type of things about the possibility of him not being ready to confront any feelings he may have for gina. "at one point ricky is going to grow up, he's going to be a lot more mature and he's not going to be so afraid to change. he's going to take it and in my opinion that change is represented in gina and his love for gina that he does have but he's not ready to accept it yet" juli where were you when the show was premiering bc rina shippers were in the trenches and this is what we've been saying since s1.
