2023-02-18 02:02:24 +0000 UTChow you’re talking about wanting ej and gina’s friendship is so true !!!! it was something i was so excited to see going into s2 but they just completely ruined it by making them romantic. as soon as they add romance to it their chemistry just dissolves in my opinion the phone call with lily was so weird but again them trying to make her some type of gina season one character. because according to gina in season one her mom said a similar thing that they’re having lily say her mom told her and it’s like we don’t care about lily 😭😭 no exactly. they never give ricky and gina any closure in season one. they had no closure and then we find out in a flashback that they REALLY had no closure in season one because the last thing that they told each other is gina saying she never would have given up on him and them hugging and thinking they’ll never see each other again. now we have in season two gina just freezing him out and them never talking about what their relationship was or what was going on between them. it’s just her trying to move on with ej but the door on ricky and gina was NEVER closed. and like you said yeah, it may be a good thing that ricky is finding himself and being independent and seeing who he is without nini. and i don’t think it’s a good idea he realizes his feelings for gina at this moment or gets into any relationship with her. and gina can have relationship experience which is a good thing and can be a good thing for her. to explore other relationships even if i don’t like who it’s currently with. i just feel like i understand maybe being upset at the thought of ricky sending chocolates to someone else, but why be mad at gina? she thought he sent her chocolates because it wasn’t a bad assumption after the conversation during vday and the text being so coincidentally right after she got them and sure nini doesn’t know any of that but i still think it’s weird to react like that. especially bc i wouldn’t consider gina and nini close friends personally 😭😭 and if you have a problem talk to her about it? also, i loved carlos and ricky bonding. they’re one of my favorite friendships and this was kind of the beginning of it. i do agree with you regarding carlos and seb though i would say they don’t give seb much to do much and much character in the show in general and that kind of sucks.
