And also on this tour she cried through so much of the tour. She didn’t show herself crying in the documentary of course but there’s many videos on YouTube. She often couldn’t say Mac’s name during thank u next and cried through half the song sometimes. She would cry at his favorite songs and had to remove one because she couldn’t handle it. During Mac’s hometown stop she saved an empty seat for him.

I’m an Ariana superfan/Stan and I have seen excuse me I love you more than 10 times and I cry with pride every time. I cried happy tears so many tears while watching this reaction lol. Ariana is such a beautiful human inside and out. And the best vocalist of our generation. I also cry with pride because of everything she was going through at this time. First the bombing at her concert in Manchester UK where 22 people were killed by a suicide bomber. That created severe anxiety, depression and PTSD. (She wrote Breathin’ after an anxiety attack following the traumatic event) While on that tour she was dating Mac Miller and he was struggling with his addiction. Her friends said she would never sleep at night on the dangerous woman tour in 2017 because she was so worried that mac would overdose. That eventually led to her not being able to take the relationship anymore, even tho they both said they loved each other and respect each other and would remain friends forever. A few months later Mac died from an accidental overdose and fans by the masses blamed Ariana for his death. People were saying Mac adored her and she threw him away for another dude and those posts would get hundreds of thousands of likes and retweets. She even had amazing replies to it but it was extremely hard. She was grieving mac and was completely devastated. She adopted Mac’s dog Myron after he passed as well. And wrote the Album thank u next while grieving Mac and dealing with severe anxiety and depression. That’s why in the documentary she said she didn’t think she would be able to do one show let alone 100.

the horror movie they were watching on the plane was Midsommar (2019) starring the one and only Florence Pugh!! (Yelena from Black Widow and Hawkeye.) i highly recommend it for the October season if you're going to do horror movies again Juli, assuming you haven't seen it. Florence and Ariana are actually really good friends, they post each other on their instagram stories sometimes!
