2023-03-30 05:04:53 +0000 UTCi love that you called maddox having a crush on ash so early in the season like you’re mind for knowing for the gays it amazes me. i think big red and ash are really cute and everything but if i’m going to root for a ship i’m going to root for the lesbians especially when i think they have so much potential. one of my favorite scenes of the show is the girls taking kourt to go rock climbing and the boys helping carlos through the water thing. and with that beautiful song in the background? i just love the scene so much. and i love seeing the friendships progress and seeing new friendships develop like carlos and ricky. once again, like you said ricky, doing the right thing by not telling gina about his crush and the fact that it was filmed. showing growth once again from season one and how he handled his feelings towards nini. i love rina rising this season but ricky’s growth is a close second to what my favorite thing is this season. also, i did get the idea that gina was expecting him to say something about his feelings too. i don’t know if that’s just me being a rina shipper, but it really felt like she was expecting him to say something about his feelings and knew that he was lying. also i love the parallel of gina and him at the coat check and even her mentioning it. what i really liked about the portwell break up is gina said everything that we rina shippers were saying about the relationship during and after season two. ppl that shipped them complained and said he was doing everything for her, and that a few days at camp broke them up just because he was focused on the musical when in reality the whole point of him having that responsibility put on him was to symbolize the fact that they’re going in different places. like gina said he’s experienced all this and she hasn’t. they are at two different stages of their lives, and we always said after season two that their relationship wasn’t going to work out because of that and we were proven right 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ just like we were proven right about ricky and nini’s relationship and why they didn’t work out. also, i truly think alongside that ej needs to grow in his relationship skills because he managed to blame ricky and effectively not listen to what she is saying when she’s giving good points about why they’re not working out 😭😭 i understand the stress he’s going through and the position he’s in in his life is stressful but i really don’t think he needs a relationship right now so i think it’s good for him that they broke up as well.
