2023-06-15 08:54:48 +0000 UTCI don't mind you disliking Dawson because I actually hated him so much more at the time. But I guess the years have mellowed me out on him. My biggest issue at the time was that I also had that problem seeing him as a kid making mistakes because not just the writing but the acting as well. Van Der Beek keeps acting like Dawson is some 40 year old man who can judge everyone in his life from his sage pov. It's not bad acting its just a wrong choice from the direction or writers. Those who loved him back when I was a kid? They loved the dubbed version and that voice was so boyish and scared and it was way easier to see his words as an act, a self defense tactic instead of an actual representation of the character as a mature beyond his years. That was so annoying back them because I felt the dubbed version was adding something that the character didn't have. Now though? The dubbed version is so enlightening to me. Of what we needed from Dawson that we didn't really get. But it is what it is.

The night of the famous line from Pacey ‘I Remember Everything’ Even him talking about Pacey helping her and all that, he was moved on and seeing both differently. This is where I think dawson really changed for the better.

They ran out of storylines and her last few with cheating and drugs was cause they couldn’t think of anything for her post Pacey breakup. So they let her go. She did mention being back for graduation like you say, but outside of that, she’s only in one other episode before the series ends it’s 6 seasons. I won’t spoil where else she appears but the only place you’ll see her final scenes are if you continue the episodes from this website I gave. Her final scenes got cut out of the broadcast version episode (that streaming places use), which she last appears in due to runtime which probably ticked her off after coming back and filming but on this site it has the directors cut with her added scenes. So stick to this site for the rest of series. They kept the intro untouched for the season so andie is shown but not a part going forward outside of the guest spots
