I just found your reviews and I hope you finish the seriers, especially since you are a smart person who ships Joey/Pacey. The whole goodbye/goodnight thing is actually a running thing through the series. "Say Goodnight" by Beth Nielsen Chapman is a song that is used multiple times in the series. with the lyrics "Say goodnight not good-bye" featured prominently. If you notice in the scene with Joey and Dawson, he says goodbye and she says goodnight.

About the grey hair lol same. I’m 29 and I have so many 😭but yeah we grew up with the same myth that if we plucked a grey hair two would grow back but now hairdressers say it’s the opposite. If you keep pulling the grey hairs out when they grow back they might not ever grow back at some point so they say stop pulling them. 😩

Something I miss from the 90's is that type of storyline where you can see a character really digest what sex would mean for them and choose to have it or not because it's important for their well being to figure that out. I really like how sex has been desmitified and how female characters can be sexual without judging them. But, sex can be so important to your emotional state, not to mention that becoming sexually active brings new responsibilities to your life and I feel like that's rarely touched upon now. I mean, there can be something else besides the obsessive morality in regards to (especially female) virginity that used to be part of old shows (and if anyone watches telenovelas, it's often still is a big deal there) and the blasé way its portrayed now. I know many teens have sex while in high school but many others don't. For some it's important to be in love, for others it's not. Like Jack said in this episode, there's no right or wrong choice, there's just choices. But we don't see people make them anymore and I think the road to them can give us pretty good television still.

You can really tell a change with season 3 and 4 storylines. That’s mostly because they added female writers during those seasons and it definitely shows. One tree hill might have been more of a one sided male view a lot of the times, and I’ve heard many bad things about the creators views and behind the scenes stuff. I still love OTH, but seasons 3 and 4 of DC are for sure the best seasons with amazing writing

I loved watching your reaction to this episode! I appreciated how they handled end of life questions with such honesty! The ending is how everyone's first time should be! Shared with someone with whom you have such a beautiful love and trust in. Pacey and Joey will always be one of my top TV couples of all time! ❤️

This episode solidified for me that pacy is the best TV boyfriend I have seen on TV. And yes over Nathan. (I didn’t see him rejecting nanny carry just saying lol)

As far as dawson, this was a great episode for his character, love him or hate him. Him and Brooke’s storyline is to me a turn around for his character away from his selfish child ways for the most part. Things like this can make people rethink how they act and view things.

Oh yes, that ending. Her giving him the same ‘count to 10’ message he gave her when he first kissed her. Love it.
