sophie nélisse (young shauna) screaming after finding jackie still breaked my heart, she is so amazing in that scene !! & yes, like everyone has said all the casting on this show is so perfect it's insane... all of them look like their older selves & every single one of them have been acted their ass off !!! all the twists & turns still get me even now, i loved all your reactions and i can't wait for you to start season 2 !!

But to me I felt like Simone hated Tai the entire season lmao, she never smiled when she sees her, is always complaining about her work etc. She gived up on Tai so easily :( Looking forward to you seeing season 2, so many things to come!

2023-09-14 05:10:59 +0000 UTCI loved your reaction! So good! I think Jackie was depressed and suicidal and I think Shauna's brain works differently. I don't believe she was jealous of Jackie: she was a better player, a better student, she got a Brown scholarship. I think Shauna wanted Jackie to love her for who she was, to see her for who she was and to let her breath a little. But Jackie loved her so much and her way to love was holding on to her for dear life (literally in the plane and figuratively back when she was planning to room with her in college). They could have fixed things if they were back in civilization once they learned to communicate but they were just too young and too hurt (Jackie by what Shauna did and Shauna by a lifetime of hiding her feelings and assigning a narrative blame to Jackie) and that meant death in the place they were stranded.

Jackie’s death was just shocking since we knew she would die but I dont think her freezing in the snow is what I had I mind for her and over some fight with shauna. Under normal circumstances they would’ve made up the next day. I like how we see the downfall of Jackie too she starts off as the team captain the one with the pep talks leading the team into victory and then after the plane crash we slowly start to see Lottie taking that spot (do we think Jackie may have been jealous) and I believe Jackie knew this as she stated that she doesn’t belong here. Ever since the crash she was barely helping out which shauna noticed and we just see the once confident fearless captain Jackie slowly lose herself. Yes she could’ve gone inside like girl get up sleep upstairs stop being so stubborn but I believe in her mind everything was just adding up for months that she was feeling useless and what’s the point since everyone is pissed off with her constantly. It was also foreshadowed when Taissa was saying how it’s going to be the kind of cold that you fall asleep in. I think this turned into a long rant that makes no sense so I’m sorry to whoever reads this.(lol I’m not done). Misty isn’t someone I want to mess with she’s always got the upper hand she knew exactly what she was doing by throwing the reporters cigarettes out. She knew that the reporter had a smoking addiction and would need the cigarettes and would notice that it was missing she used that against her she knew exactly what she was doing. I can’t wait for your theories and reactions to season 2!
