I also wish we had Jen continuing therapy but I wonder if the writers weren’t ready yet to deal with everything Jen had been through. I just wish the show had been bold enough for the time to say that the sex Jen had at 12, that we were heavily implied during this episode to have been with a college man, was actually rape. Like I understand that they probably didn't feel like it was something they could deal with (for the young audience and maybe the network and other limitations) but I just wished hat it could have been clear for all their young audience members (like me) who didn't understand that at the time.
