boys who love the brilliant girls but hate themselves has unfortunately become my ship of choice lmao the thing is, joey was always so sure of pacey and their relationship and their future but she did so much of putting dawson's feelings over her love for pacey and i know that contributed to his insecurities building. she claimed to always be so sure of him and them but she did too much to put doubt in his mind. he always wanted honesty from her but she was always so terrified of doing that with dawson and hurting him and him lashing out that she carried that behavior into her relationship with pacey even though he was never going to punish her for telling him the truth. he always just took it. it makes me so sad that dawson could have that much power over her.

2023-11-22 19:36:22 +0000 UTCI don’t blame pacey we need to be honest Joey played a lot with pacey by alway putting Dawson first I definitely believe the last straw was when she lied about having sex with him to Dawson that was the worst lie someone u love can tell then lie to your face when you give her the opportunity to be honest she only told the truth because of that money for school period after that pacey checked out of the relationship he didn’t even want to touch or kiss her pacey sat and took all of it and he blow up at prom team pacey Joey a clown but I still love them together and hate Dawson lol 😂

Just no words for that speech pacey made. So sad. Great acting. I agree with Juli and I also will die if joey and dawson get back together lol I really hope they don’t but I haven’t seen the rest of the show so I have no idea lol

2023-09-22 05:19:22 +0000 UTCIt is a sad episode and I never re-watch it. However, Joshua Jackson acting in the scene is probably one of the best acting performance we saw in the show. I do love that Jack had a good prom. He deserves it. He deserves the world.
