they really should have ended the season with the previous episode. this one feels like kevin williamson came back from the abyss just to shoehorn dawson/joey in the finale and spit on the beautiful build up and execution of pacey/joey and to warn us that he was going to force them on us in s5. and he wasn't even on the writing team for this season so i can't even blame him for it!!!

As someone who watched this show faithfully in the late 90s/early 2000s I absolutely love your reactions. Watching someone watch this show for the first time in 2023 is amazing. I love how you were rooting for Pacey and Joey from day one. I did the same. They will always be my favorite TV couple.

Any season finale of this show is better than this one, so anything can make this shows finale good. While she should watch how she words things, that can be referring to how it ends overall for everyone as a whole. Some shows have crappy finales

When it gets to the finale, it’s actual extended and longer that what you’d find on Amazon/hbo/ect. The finale she’ll be able to download and watch there actually has scenes cut they filmed but had to remove due to time on tv, but their restored in the spot in episode the scenes would have been. Not spoiling what those scenes are but it’s worth watching this extended version for these 15+ mins of cut content

Because best friends cannot be best friends, apparently. It's literally the main reason I haven't watched the show. Was I kind of knew what the writers would want to do, and I didn't want to see it lmfao
