Most of our cultural dances and music and foods in my country come from our African ancestors who were brought to my island because of slavery! This is the case in many Hispanic countries. I love how this movie touches on this !

People might say watch the 90’s one which is also amazing, but the musical is more accurate to the original book! And the girl that plays izogie on the woman king is a main character there!
