Mhmm summer is 4th of july, if you ever come to the states highly recommend seeing the fireworks its a good time. Grilling, hanging out with family, some of my best memories growing up

Julie is very much the anomaly in the Kevin William pantheon of slasher heroines in that she's not much of a fighter. If you ever end up watching the sequel (I STILL Know What You Did Last Summer) you'll be happy to know she's definitely more competent. (Don't bother with the 3rd film though, it is HOT garbage). The killer in this one is the biggest hypocrite. Like sir, how dare you get all high and mighty with Julie about getting away with murder when you LITERALLY had just killed someone right before they ran you over?? I don't really have a story reasoning for Max's death but I'm fairly certain the real-world reason was that, without it, it would be a slasher without a kill for the first hour or so (kind of like the principal's death in Scream 1, it was too long of a gap between deaths).
