I do really like Dawson in season 5. It's easier to get why Van Der Beek was chosen when he gets to play this sad version of him. I wish Joey would back off but I get that she wants to go back to the opportunity that they almost got. To do what? Idk. I think they got so little time together so long ago (for them) that they idealized what they had. But getting together still feels more like going backwards instead of moving forward.
