Yes, I think it also originally was going to air the week of 9/11, and they postponed a lot of episodes/shows that week

2023-11-29 12:13:22 +0000 UTCYea originally this was made right after Mitch’s death in 504 and that explains why Dawson’s not there but I guess they felt everyone was too in a good mood right after his death so they moved it. And it still fits in after 508 cause Dawson and Jen are away on that trip and the characters are in nicer places
