Like I love Jere and Belly! I think they have a crazy good chemistry but I refuse to make Conrad the bad guy! I'm not saying he is perfect but give him a break!!
Also, I get why Belly is now thinking that Jere is the right fit for her, but I really wish she would just stop for a minute and let herself breath and process everything! I don't want them to get hurt!

mind you in the books, both brothers knew and jere still was loving and attentive to his mom, meanwhile conrad still avoided her at times and passive aggressive to others. the show kept jere the same but took away him knowing, so that tells you a lot about hi character and how he is with the ones he loves. he shows love through acts of service, quality time and words of affirmation.you see it with his relationships woth everyone

2024-02-28 05:08:02 +0000 UTCalso, the way there were so many people that were saying he chose to take on the burden and not tell anyone what’s going on with his mom and keep it from jere but it’s like ….. did they miss the part where his mother clearly wants no one to know???? what do you mean he’s making problems for himself? she wants no one to know so obviously he won’t say anything and feel like he’s also ruining everyone’s summer when it’s clear his mom doesn’t want anyone to know yet including him.

Some wanna say they cant stand conrads miserable self n i get it cuz not everyone can have the ability, compassion n patience to understand ppl like him but imagine carrying that weight & going through that w urself. I dont excuse his moody side but i understand why his exterior is like that. Not being able to express n trying to keep it in to protect everyone else takes a toll as we see the anxiety, the dissocaiting, the drinking, the quitting, the blocking out life cuz its like how can you focus on anything else but that pain n scary feeling. His father 100% is part of issue to why he cant cope. Hence why the only person he opened up to was a grown man, kinda missing factor of the father figure he lacked in life.

The common factor of delena, stelena and bonrad/Jelly is the guys let the women lead n decide so i never understand why the girls make it so hard but i cant imagine being stuck between two guys n leading both on till i figure out what i want lmao.

That is where i think jere deserves better. Reminds me of stelena and delena season 3 where elena was thinking bout damon n cuz she pushed it aside so much it maginifed when she turned into a vamp. If she truly loved stefan she wouldnt of second guessed n contemplate another man. That's how i feel bout what Belly is doing with jere cuz he is all in to her but is she to him? I dont think so. Esp being a teenage boy, he deserves better n deserves to not be a pond to escape reality n reality is her unsure feeling of moving on from conrad.
