drake was actually in a horrible car accident in the middle of filming this season (not his fault, the other guy ran a stop sign i think) and they made him work right afterwards so you can see he's actually recovering here and lost a lot of weight. He said it was very painful working with the monkey since obviously he's moving around a lot and drake was still sore on his mouth.
