2024-04-11 04:55:24 +0000 UTCI watched this movie SO many times as a kid! Loved re-watching it with you! Hilary Duff was my favorite back than! I used to have some night lights that were from her brand. Plus I had all her CDs (The song at the end when Austin is giving Sam her phone back is a song of hers called "Anywhere But Here"). I do hope you end up watching the Lizzie McGuire show at some point. If only so you can have more Hilary Duff content! And yeah, Jennifer Coolidge is incredible in this role. She plays it so well that it's hard to hate her sometimes. There has been a few reboots of this concept, but no other actress has been able to pull off the step mother part as well as Coolidge. I also have to say that because I saw this movie way before I watched OTH the first time I watched that show I had that moment of wait I know that guy! It's Austin Ames! LOL. Also unlike basketball, which he admits he wasn't great at but could fake it for the show, he actually did play football as a kid. BTW quarterbacks lick there fingers because it helps them grip the ball better.
