One interesting thing is that Alicent has issues with closeness with her male children but she's always wanted to connect to Halaena, the one who's fate probably most reminds her of her own but Halaena has always rejected her touch, not because she doesn't love her but because she doesn't like touch at all, but I'm not sure Alicent is fully able to understand her. Very big episode in regards to touch for the Greens.

Indulging in pleasure is sinful and leads to hell. And she's used to separate her body from her mind. Her body is a traitor that her mind must not follow and she is too guilty to be dutiful so she lets her body lead her to more guilt and pain.
