i was in the same boat as you at first, with finding faye hot and yoko cute, and they ARE both very much that, but also yoko's the kind of hot that sneaks up on you over time. irl she's about to be 23 in like a week, she just has a babyface, and depending on her makeup/outfit she can look much more hot+mature or young+cute. anueng is definitely in the cute-but-not-hot stage at this point in the show though also, about the names: faye's character is named nueng, but everyone (except anueng) calls her Khun Nueng with "khun" being a title of respect. anueng calls her ar-nueng because ar- is a title you give to adults to show respect in a more familiar way. yoko's character is named anueng, but sometimes khun nueng shortens it to nueng as a nickname; it shows how close they are. and the reason anueng asked if sam was khun nueng's sister from the same parents is that in thailand, people often call people they're friends with/close with (especially if there's an age difference, even if it's only a year or so) their sister/brother, even if they're not related. so anueng was trying to check to make sure that khun nueng wasn't just saying that sam is her friend, not trying to imply that there was a chance that nueng and sam were having a step-sister romance lol and don't worry--we ALL thought about how to kill the grandma lmao
