I loved the film, it was so wholesome!! The early 2000s vibes was GOLD! I loved it and I don't even know why I never knew about this films.
I loved the girls and I can't wait for the second film ♥

2024-08-03 06:03:30 +0000 UTCFinally got to watch it (even though I'm supposed to be packing rn) but yasss Cinderella and Cheetah Sisters are my favs, but my sister used to have the soundtrack cd for this movie so we loved all the songs! I can't wait for the 2nd movie, the first is a classic but I think it's one of those times that the sequel actually is better than the first one. But I realized this while watching it with you and I'm glad you touched on it, I feel like I grew up with a lot of media that had a spotlight on women empowerment and inclusion but it came off so natural to the story and true to real life that it just felt relatable instead of like a PSA, I feel like modern day writers need to take a few lessons on how to make those subjects organic within the story again, because I think they are important themes to represent but sometimes it can be very cringe when it's forced
