I have no words to describe how I feel right now... The open ending truly shocked me. I wasn't ecpecting that at all. But what are your thoughts on it? I will love to read them.

2025-05-31 22:02:28 +0000 UTCagain i haven’t watch your reaction yet but based off your description were you also trying to figure out if they lived or died at the end? i ended up looking it up to see if it’s supposed to be up to interpretation and the director has said multiple times they’re alive and it was a representation of them making it out of the bad they’ve been going through and starting anew. he made it ambiguous on purposes though. what he said in one of the interviews - “Many people stopped me in Cannes where it premiered and begged to know what the end was, Did the boys live or die? When making the film we assumed they survived and were able to affirm who they were, that they came into their own. If some think they did not survive, that is also fine.
