SM can totally negoatiate with Seohyun, Sooyoung, Tiffany and their new labels and make a comeback as 8 if the planets align. I doubt the girls would not want to do it. They love to be part of the group. They left SM to pursue new things and have more freedom I guess.

They've all stated that they're still together, they're just waiting for their schedules to align before they make a comeback. When will that comeback happen? Who knows. They're all busy and doing their own things for now, but I have no doubt it'll happen eventually, even if its a few years from now lol.

Oh!GG is just a subunit of SNSD consisting of the members who decided to renew their contracts with SM. Technically, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun are still part of SNSD even though they've left the label.
